One of the best comics I've picked up in a really long time has been Y the Last Man, can't recommend it for any of our younger members because it is a seriously mature story to the say the least.
The idea is that some plague wipes out all the men on earth except this one guy named Yorick and his pet monkey, the plot follows him and a super secret agent and a Dr in their search for a cure and survival in this "new" world.
It has some pretty disturbing stuff in it, but is really well balanced and really well written. I think it could even appeal to any one who doesn't normally even like comics.
Any chance any one else on here's as hooked as I am? I've only got as far as the last trade edition and looking forward to catching up on the rest of the story.
