I read too many comics, been caught on a girly comic binge lately. Paradise Kiss is where my heart currently lies. I hope to be the next Mikako! Even if she doesn't exist.

I can't get into Parakiss for some reason. Though, I do love the clothes. Currently, my heart lies with Hot Gimmick, Absolute Boyfriend, The Wallflower, and Nana.

Also, may I give you props for your dress? I saw the picture on your diary, and it's so cute. Definately something out of the Happy Berry line. ^_~

At first it took me some getting used to Para kiss, but I ended up really liking it. maybe it reminds me a lot of art school!

Thanks for the dress props, it doesn't look anything like it will in the end yet, but i can't wait to finish it off!

Nana is currently being serialized in the American manga anthology "Shojo Beat." Which I strongly recommend...Nana is really good, and the other stories have captured my interest as well. Except Kaze Hikaru.

You know what, I picked up a copy of Shojo Beat in a shop the other day, but it was a big chain so I figured I'd go bug my local comic book shop about it.

My heart lies with Hot Gimmick currently! I ordered 8 and 9 because I need to have them and the store didnt have them. I just started reading this manga like 2 weeks ago too. Paradise Kiss I always stop and look at because of the name but then when I look at it it doesnt interest me. I love manga and have been buying too much of it lately. I also got Shojo beat and Nana and Absolute boyfriend look like they are good.

I read on the zipper website the other day that they have made an animated series out of Paradise Kiss. I wonder what that would be like?

I completely agree :D Ai Yazawa is definitely my fave manga-ka, I love all her manga. Her characters have so much personality, they almost always make you fall in love with them, even if you didn't like them at first. :P
