Gothic & Lolita Bible Subscription

Does anyone have a subscription? If so, who do you do it through? I looked on J-list and they said something about a revolving basis.. so you're charged $18 every time one is sent to you...which doesn't seem like much of a subscription at all

I know you can get magazine subscriptions through cdjapan.co.jp, but I'm not sure if they have GL bible.

My subscription to Gothic and Lolita Bible is through J-List. It only comes out four times a year so it isn't as bad as it seems to pay the $18 plus shipping only four times during the year. It takes a couple weeks to get here though because they send it SAL (Surface Mail) because it's cheaper then Air Mail or EMS. I was wary of getting a revolving subscription through J-List until I made my first order with them. They are reliable and I have enjoyed everything I have ordered from them immensely!

If you aren't sure whether you want a revolving subscription I recommend ordering issues individually as they come out if you are interested in the subjects covered. I'm not always impressed with every issue; some just aren't on par with others. The current issue for Fall is great though; the photos illustrating this season's fashions were really beautifully done! I highly recommend getting a copy if you can! :)

i just got the summer edition of Gothic& Lolita Bible at my local anime store! I'm hooked! It's great! Anyone ever notice that Mana is prettier then most of the other models?

the summer issue is the only one i have. i got it on my holidays in kinokuniya. i was so happy when i found this store i spent way too much money :D , and when i found glb :D i nearly cried and my voice got all high pitched cause i couldnt believe i found one, but my aunt was with me and now she thinks im nuts o-o

that's kinda what happened to me! I was there with all the stuff i was going to get in hand, pocky, R.O.D. tv trading figure, Le portrait de petite Cosette DVD, and Gunslinger Girl manga, then i looked over at this rack of Japanese magazines, and saw it. I was near tears too! I dropped almost everything, and ending up getting the pocky, R.O.D figure, and Gothic & Lolita Bible! Happpy day!!!

When I brought my first it was in the City at Kinokuniya and I was so shocked they had it that I ended up buying an old issue. I still love it to pieces though. I brought the latest fall one when I went to a J-marketplace with my friend Margarete.

I am SO happy that Gothic & Lolita Bible is now coming out in English. As soon as I found out I went and bought one and two. I just can't wait for three to come out!! I'm so excited.
