Attempting my first Amigurumi

I just bought a book called "Super Crochet Wonderful". It has adorable Amigurumi patterns in it. I crocheted years and years ago, but nothing like this.

Has anyone attempted to make an Amigurumi? Anyone a fan? Have any tips for a first timer?

I have a love of those things, and a couple of books, but I've never learned to crochet :( I can't wait to see yours they are always soooooo adorable!

Yeah, the ones in this book are so cute! I will post pictures when I'm finished. I need to learn how to crochet first...or at least refresh my memory :D

I saw that book in the fabric store and my mom won't get it or me. Then again, she won't get me anything except for Beatles CD's. T_T

It wasn't too hard. It went a little slow at first, and my hands were super sore, but I'm so glad I did it! I made her a cute dress and bows too, I will post pictures soon.

I have that book!!
I've crocheted an Amigurumi bunny before, but not from this book. I'll post a pic of it when I get a chance.
I've only crocheted the bottle holder so far, I plan to make more.

Amigurumi tips: must use the stitch markers!! I just used a safety pin as a marker. Oh, and it's very important to count too. :D

Right now I'm working on all of the main DeathNote characters, in Amigurumi bunny form. I'm almost finished with Ryuk, it's turning out so ridiculously adorable.
