I know this is dolly fashion, but I'm having a little trouble and I need some help, and a second opinion. I am planning to get a BJD for christmas, and have been thinking things out, all except for the name. For the original doll I was planning to get, the name Novella fit, but for this one maybe something different?
Here (http://www.angell-studio.com/shop/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=65&productname=) is the doll, just scroll down and click detail for more pics.

She's totally adorable! 0.0 You could keep Novella, it would work ^^ Or you could do like loli-dolly said and go for a traditional type of name. If you're looking for names you could always go on a baby names website. Or just type in names on google and it'll bring up a site with mythological names, biblical names, etc etc :D

loli-dolly: Thanks, I think a classic name might fit her. Maybe as a nickname or middle name would work too?
crimsonbutterfly23: Thank you, the meaning of names intrigues me as well, but of course I forgot to check the internet XD
linsee: Yes, I love the word as a name, because it sounds pretty and has a nice meaning: "a fictional prose narrative that is longer and more complex than a short story; a short novel."

Also did anyone notice the doll comes with a free scented body option free? XD

scented body option?! it's like strawberry shortcake or whatever the heck her name is...it'd be better than new resin smell I suppose XD though if I had a scented doll I'd be sniffing her all the time which...would probably look rather odd. "*sniff* mmm cocoa. You smell so good...*sniff*" o.O

She's very pretty.
I think Novella would suit her perfectly.

Heh, I never realized Angell Studio had a scented body option.
I think the last thing I ever want to do is attempt to eat my doll because they smell good.

XD It's like, mmm, you smell good...*chomp* :yum: :o that's why I want to get a floral scent, as not to traumatize innocent passersby, not to mention my doll :o
and to elaborate on Novella, possible nickname could be Vella-chan?

Smelly Dorries?! Wow thats a new one. I don't know if I'd want my dorries to smell like potpourri (sp?).

She's a very cute mold, I really like the name Novella. Please spam us with photo's when you get her! :)

That's really neat that they can scent your doll o_o
When I wanted to scent Akina, I just shut her up in her box with a box of really fragrant tea x3

But as for the matter at hand, I really like Novella. It's classic but just different enough.

I think you should always go with your first instinct on naming things. Novella would be a lovely name for her. She's really beautiful! I'm partial to the name Midori, but she doesn't look much like a "green" to me. Probably I'm fond of it because if I get the new doll I have fallen in love with I plan on naming her Midoriko to follow in the tradition of me always giving my dolls names with child at the end! o-o Her stock name is Veritas, so it seems rather fitting. You could use Imogen as a middle name. Novella Imogen sounds rather pretty together. :D I had to laugh at the scented body option, it reminded me of the manga Dolls!

XD after we met you in California we had not much else to do before our next destination so we stopped in Cambria and bought that book from your store! The Potpourri doll... No, but the one you left was...THE DOLL! :o

:D Hee, hee! I always wondered if it was you that came in and bought that book since it was gone when I came in the next day! Even though that is probably the most disturbing story in that volume of Dolls, it's still my favorite! Don't you wish you could go and get your doll from a store like that though?
