I'm totally hogging the music thread today ._.
Anyways, despite being a devout J-Pop fan, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's definetly rank among my favorite artists (most of which are from the semi-obscure J-Pop scene) and are just an awesome band on a whole.
They're art punk and garage rock, and they come from New York (blah, blah, blah XD). They're made up of Karen O (who is like, my hero and is on vocals), Nick Zinner on guitar, and Brian Chase on drums. They had a tiny little hit called 'Maps' and from what I've heard are a favorite among college campus alternative radios (sorry, giving all this basic info since I don't think anyone here has heard of them). They have two albums out (I'm lucky enough to own both >3) and just released a new single.

If anyone has heard of them, please speak up (seriously...I'm all alone here!!) : D

I've actually only heard one of their songs, It was called "Gold Lion". I liked it enough to put it on my I-pod playlist! ^__^
