Amy Winehouse?

Does anyone else like Amy Winehouse? I guess she's really popular in the U.K. right now, but no one I know has heard of her. She's definitely not for everyone, I'm surprised she's popular. Her music is different than most modern pop music, it might as well be from the 60s. It's refreshing to me.But only a few of her songs are really good, and the rest are pretty boring... I am obsessed with "Back to Black", "Rehab", and "You Know I'm No Good".

But besides her music, she is such a mess... but people shouldn't hate her music because of that. In the interviews I've watched of her she always seems drunk... and at some concerts too... I'm trying to decide if I should go to her concert in a month or not...

She's really popular here, because the radios can't get enough of the Rehab rap remix thingy.

I like her songs like 'Back to Black' though alot of her stuff can be kind of sucky yeah. I don't respect what a drunk she is, but I DO respect how unabashed she is.

She's all over the UK celeb magazines, and she does look a mess. Today, I heard on the radio, that her father in law, wants her to stop selling records, to sought out her drug problem.

She has a lovely voice...She just needs to snap out of it.

I've seen that picture before, it just shows how being a star can really change you... I don't like her as a person, just her music I guess
Her drug problems really annoy me, the first time I heard rehab I thought it was really whiny but I liked the singing style...

amy winehouse is a bit of a mess but isnt that her angle, like thats how she separates herself from other artists out now around her age(not that i think its healthy).
but out of all the british artists out now my favorite is lily allen. shes not the strongest singer but i love her lyrics and her fashion style is origial. i dont know how big she is in america, i was on holidays there for a few weeks but only heard her once on the radio. :)

I don't really pay attention to the person, I think her music is absolutely wonderful. I think her music really shows her respect to the generations of music that came before her. Its really innovative and more importantly it sounds great. :)

due to this thread i started checking her out. I'm not really into that kinda music, and i don't really like her voice. or her mole.
