The other night I had this overwhelming home sickness come over me! I used to go this little coffee house every morning as soon as it opened and watched all sorts of people come and go. My favorite was the old man who used to fall asleep on the couch after a cup and a half of coffee. He cracked me up; I wonder if he knew how many people came and sat beside him on the couch during the course of a day. I can still smell the fresh roasting beans and 100 year old brick walls...
Are there any places that any of you guys ever miss so strongly you can almost feel like you're there when you close your eyes?

Sometimes I get random flashbacks of switzerland like eating yummy?! kebabs at ridiculous in the morning and salt licourice liquor

I get very homesick sometimes, I miss the pubs, and my friends, but most of all i just miss my family, like just sitting at the kitchen table having breakfast and talking to my folks.

I'm going back at last to see them in January, it's been almost 2 years since I was last able to go.

I'm glad you are going back to see them though- I know that they miss you lots and you miss them lots too!

Salt liqoiurice liqiour is good and makes me want to go to finland all by itself

The best bit is, we'll be back up in Huddersfield for a bit!!!! I NEEEEEEEED cheesy chips form Centros....

Salt liqoiurice liqiour is good and makes me want to go to finland all by itself

I've never had the liqiour, but I love salty liqoiurice!!! You can get salty liqoiurice fish at Ikea!!!!

Lol Viv the first time I met you was outside Centro's You were telling me about your opinions on Mayonaise, I won't quote but I still think of it whenever I see mayo as I dislike it too.

Not sure if centro's is still open (not been around that corner for a while)
but the tradition of cheezy chips in huddersfield is still going strong. you might not recognise a lot of it but the people are still the same :)

It's always nice to find another person who's onto the mayo conspiracy.

I've heard the place has changed a lot since i was last there, but if Centros isn't there any more I'm going to cry!!!! they did the best cheesy chips I found any where!!!!

Hudds has gone plain crazy I doubt you will recognise any of kings street anymore I go to uni here and its still hard to keep up.
