yes she's very cute but I think I might get one from everything of doll but she's so cute I would love to get a custom face-up though because I like creepy dramatic make-up

Did you two sign up for Den of Angels (http://denofangels.com/forums)? They have TONS on info on everything BJD. Seriously, anything you want to know, either it's already been asked or you can post a thread and get helpful, friendly and fast replies.
I personally haven't ordered from AOD but I've heard good things. :D

I just thought of something......do they do custom faceups?

I'm sure if you send them a request for a custom face-up, they do.
But actually, I didn't get my dollie from the manufacturer's page; I bought mine on eBay, from a seller named "renaissancefashion" who only sells AOD. When I bought mine, he responded almost immediatley, and sent me an album of dolls with pre-made faceup to choose from. I just told him my preference, and he sent me that exact one the same day. I got it less than a week later.
If you link me to the official AOD site, I'll try and figure it out for you.

It looks like a basic online shoppe. Add items to cart, view your cart, proceed to checkout.
But I can say that eBay's cheaper by a heap, for the same items. The online AOD shoppe doesn't even gurantee if they come with faceup or not. The faceup was free with my doll.

I'd be careful about ordering from ebay, there have been some issues discussed in this Den of Angels forum. :o
Forum Thread Here! (http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=152094)
I'm sure anyone at DOA will be glad to help and get you more info if you need it :)

actually I think I heard something about AOD not selling on ebay and that someone from their company was selling them and that they shouldn't be

Yeah that's what the thread talks about, and some issues about damaged dolls I think. I'd just go through the official site just to be on the safe side.

HOLY CRUMPETS THAT'S THE GUY I BOUGHT LEO FROM!
... Oh, okay. Other posters said their dolls were fine, as was mine. You scared me, CosplayBunny! I thought my darling dollie was a fake. But the qaulity's too good for her to be a fake... I wonder what the deal is?

Sorry, I didn't mean that your seller was bad, but there's just too much confusion :? , that's why I was recommending shopping direct. :)

*nods* No, I agree. There's really never a gurantee that eBay sellers will really dispatch your order. I'm still waiting on a Mohair wig for my doll I ordered at least two weeks ago.
It hurts, but... straight from the manufacturer for me, now...

I was looking at some of your arrival photos, did she come to you like that? In the fetal position I mean.

Yep... I was just pondering that too, after skimming through that discussion. I didn't change it, the whole point was to capture the moment. I didn't really think about why she was packaged like that, though.

Yeah, thats not too good for her to come to you like that. I'm glad she arrived safely though!
They should come in a straight up right position like this. (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b218/cosplaybunny/P1010150.jpg) (Little nudity warning) I've had all my dolls shipped and have shipped them all like this. Its just safer.
I really like to avoid overseas shipping myself, its just such a pain sometimes. I usually just go with authorized American dealers myself like JunkySpot, Dolls and Friends, Denver Dolls, We Love Dolls, and my personal (and local favorite!) Kerbey Lane Doll Shop.

So buttongirl, disregard my eBay advice! Just buy it from the source, so you'll know it's legit!
