View Full Version : Asia's.... art? ^_^()
Hi! I haven't been as active on the forum as I'd like to be, so I thought I'd introduce myself through some art pieces. ^_^
ah... or at least.... I would if my photobucket would stop being a chump. o.o uh.... more (something, ahem) to come... o.o
edit:
ok! Here are some pieces (hopefully. :o )
The first is a watercolor I did to relieve some boredom.

Um, here's a more recent piece I did and entered into my university's juried art show It was so much fun, and I got an honorable mention. (aya! Sorry, I uploaded the wrong photo, so it has a bit of a skew. :( and it's fuzzy. >_< I'll try to get a better one up) Charcoal on grey paper.
and lastly, a pointalism I did of a really popular image of Skuld from Ah Megami-sama. ^_^ Also from back in high school. YAY!

It's ok the images are huge, you can better see the details in the pic. :D
Anyways. I love your water color pic. I dabbled in watercolor, and I am terrible at it. I have no control at all over the water and the color... o-o
And the pointalism one looks neat. Must've taken forever though...

ah! ^_^ Thanks so much!
Ah... yeah..... o.o After I finished the pointalism, I couldn't look at it for very long.... I had a week to do it, but I was working on it in all of my classes, and would finish my work early in my first hour of German so I could run off to the art studio for the hour. >_< It's killer on the wrist. It probably would have been easier if I only did it with marker, but I wanted to use watercolor too. bleh. ^_^ At any rate, it's nice to meet all of you! :P
Um, I have some oher images if you'd like. Some are older (from high school) and some are from my drawing II class at university.
Ummm.... a super old watercolor from my senior year of high school (a weekly homework assignment sort of thing) Jeez... it was done on sketch paper with watercolor and ink. >_< poor medium choice...

OMG, that is the best gundam pic I've ever seen, especially it's in watercolor. That's Wing Zero, right?

It seems you have definitely found your great talent in life~! :)
I'm still working on mine... (it kinda jumps around sometimes..)
:D Super grin!!!!!! Thank you so much! It's a little lame, but majoring in this, when you get criticism all the time, even when you know you deserve it, hearing a little encouragement goes a long way. ^_^ Thanks everyone! wheeeee! And it's so cool to hear it from Vivien, too, when I'm so envious of all your graphic designs. :D
ps- here's the charcoal on grey I was talking about. I'm not sure why it didn't show up before...http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb206/dampened_feather/drawingIIstuffs004.jpg
