Ah yes, as you picked up you're newest addition to you're shojo beat magazine, you flip open the pages to find something far more different from you're other manga stories. Something called Princess Knight. Made by the legendary Osamu Tezuka!
Yep, I loved Princess Knight when I read it in Shojo Beat. I read it over and over and over again, and I just got it yesterday! However, I'm very disappointed it will be the only time I will see it and it didn't even end appropriatly! It sort of left us on a cliffhanger, and now we got to think about what happens next!
So what did you guys think of it? And do you think they should publish more of it? In act, does anyone know if their thinking about publishing it to volumes? I heard there was nothing planned except for this preview, but maybe I'm wrong.

If they published a preview of it, especially the amount that they did, I think that they must have a license for it and will publish volumes in the future -- otherwise, that is a waste of licensing fees!
I also thought that it was a charming good read, and it is by Osamu Tezuka so you can't go wrong there. I might pick it up when (if?) it comes out!

Good point!
It would be a waist if those were the only pages published in america. Besides, if they did publish it to book, I'm sure they would get a lot, especially out of my funds. >_<

i'm so used to the streamlined style of modern manga, that i found it hard to read and confusing. :( although, i have read Buddha and i love it! :D
Princess Knight was sooo cute.
I really do hope they publish it.
I would buy it if they did.

Yep. Cute as a button. Or as some people would call it, Kawaii. Kawaii powah!
Anyway, maybe I should start a petition to get it published, heh, it wouldn't work, but that would be fun nd a huge time waister of course.
I'm a big time waister.

Buddha.... :o
That manga's freaky and hard to follow.
I picked it up at Barnes and Noble and read a few pages. Some kid got swallowed up by a big python--naked lady--some beared guy sacrficing a bunny. It was horrible to see so I put it down. The art was astounding though. XP

P.S. I'm starting a Princess Knight Petition if I don't see Princess Knight published as manga at the end of the year...

Don't worry! VIZ wouldn't have put the excerpt in Shoujo Beat if they weren't going to publish it. That would be tantamount to a Burger King-sponsored commercial advertising Big Macs.

Well...sorry about the threat, but since it's never been published before and since it says nothng about a volume and pretty cut part of the preview who knows if they will or not! But...either way, I still like it. :3
