i would have to say that bust is definitely my favorite magazine. it has a good variety of just about everything. even when it has articles about something or some one i'm not interested in, i end up enjoying it because it's written so well. it's just a really great, witty, cover to cover read.

what's your favorite magazine?

Kera! :D I also like Shojo Beat and Fruits. I've grown to hate seventeen, though. It's just the same thing over and over again.

I love Cutie and Zipper. Oh, and Metro Pop.

I love Bust too, I also picked up a copy of Miss Behave and that looks promising too. I like Shojo Beat as well.

I'm also a fan of Bust! Great articles and interviews. I love their old-school hair and makeup tips.

I also like the science magazine SEED. It's genuinely non-pretentious while staying true to good science. I hate when science magazines either sell out to attract the masses, or leave out what strikes your curiosity in the first place.

I used to devour Adbusters, but their message has become so monotonous to me...it's not worth paying that much per issue. Yeah yeah yeah, the media and globalization, blah blah blah blah. I read the book written by the guy who founded Adbusters, and was truly unimpressed. I prefer the proactive side of tackling any issue over the whining.

I forgot Art Prostitute (http://www.artprostitute.com/) It's a great magazine that comes out featuring a lot of current artists. They have a ton of great color prints of their work, as well as really well done articles with the artists, and interesting articles. I need to renew my Subscription.

Arktip (http://www.arkitip.com/fine-art/frost/index.php) is really cool too, not much as far as reading, but each issue is an art collection, where Artists do work especially to be printed in the magazine, as well as a *something* like a magnet, shoe lace etc.

I pretty much only read Shojo Beat, Shonen Jump, and Entertainment Weekly, haha. I love EW! Can't get enough of it -_-*

I am an anime/manga fanatic so the only magazines I ever read anymore are Shojo Beat, Shonen Jump, Newtype(my favorite), and Anime Insider. I usually only pick up other mags that have good beauty tips in them.

Lessee...as of late, I've been reading a lot of art magazines. The less pretentious ones are usually better, I've learned...hahaha.

Yesterday I picked up a newish magazine called GOOD, and it looks very promising! It's all about design for the greater good. It has lots of information about really cool charities and non-profits. For example, I just read about a group of motorcycle racers who rush medicine to small villages who don't live close to hospitals.

Noise is my favourite, it's filled with neat photography and very little writing.
