From my heart and from my hand.
Why don't people understand my itentions?

Danny Elfman = <3
He's been my idol in music ever since I was a little girl. xD
I thought Corpse Bride was one of his greatest. Lyrics, meh, could be better, but the intsrumentals were fantastic, amazing. I proudly own the soundtrack. :3 I especially like the one "into the Forest" where Victor first meets Emily. xD Very well done.

Men in Black was a good music score as well.

oingo boingo is pretty kick ass. I like all of the other stuff danny has done too. I used to know a girl who had a tape that had all of his solo soundtrack stuff on it... the simpsons theme was funny to listen to without the visuals. :D

I adore Oingo Boingo XD Which is partially my mother's fault; she was really into them in the 80's and introduced me to them when I was about eleven. And the rest is history ^^;

well it seems my mom is like your guys moms
I also grew up listening to (not all from the 80's) depeche mode, the smiths, DEVO (awesomeness at it's finest), the ramones, and so many other great bands that made me into the the person I am today and also who I will be in the future for this music taught me things (no one lives forever! tee hee) but also my taste in music if I hadn't been introduced to bands like the smiths or depeche mode or oingo boingo I probably would have not gotten interested in my chemical romance or AFI or a lot of the other bands I like and scary enough if I probab;y never heard any of this music from my parents I would be listening to pop....or worse ...... rap eck!!!!! *gets the heebie jeebies from the random image of me tring to be gangster and whenever I do that it makes me look really stupid*

YES. Depeche Mode is amazing. It seems like our parents; and vicariously through them us, have very good taste in eighties music. Anyone else listen to Adam Ant?

I actually have a huge thing for 80's-era Adam Ant ^^;;;; He's my inspiration whenever I feel like crossdressing and being a Kodona (sort of a male version of Lolita).

oh lucky you got to see their halloween concerts I think I was too young to ever go to one (not to mention my horrible taste in music when I was little) they broke up in 1995 that would make me like 2 or 3 years old when that happened so all I have are my boom box of awesomeness I bought at salvation army (it plays cassettes and radio), my awesome oingo boingo cassette tapes, some depeche mode cassettes (black celebration!!!!!! actually my parents have every depeche mode tape and I take them and listen to them), a falco tape, and itunes .........I like cassette tapes........and I hate cds I always either lose them or scratch them and they get all destroyed
