EGL-Unit: The Lolita Rap.

After a discussion with my sister, I decided that there needed to be a lolita rap... so I wrote one. It's rather silly, and I'd recommend that you didn't read it if you have no sense of humor at all about the fashion.

If you do have a sense of humor, I hope you find it funny..



When we just walkin’ down the street, people often turn and stare.
They’re nonplussed to see these teenage girls without their cleavage bare.
We’ve retreated into modesty, wrapped up in bows and frills,
Picking stockings over slutty jeans and headbands over grills.

Defiant spirit wrapped inside a frilly bell-shaped dress,
Lolita is a fashion that demands a large excess.
Yeah, these socks were thirty dollars, but don’t snicker and don’t hate.
You don’t get that it’s all worth it to look like you just turned eight.

Though our fashion isn’t normal, you don’t have to taunt and jab.
We would rather don our frilly gowns than put on something drab.
Lacy crinolines and bloomers and pink ribbons in our hair—
What you think just doesn’t matter, ‘cause we like the stuff we wear.

But if you’re rude, don’t just assume that lolis can’t kick butt.
You’ll think anew when you feel pain from parasols to the gut.
We will kick your shins in platforms and throw hot tea on your face,
And you’ll rue the day that you poked fun at ribbons, pearls, and lace.

This reminds me of yesterday, I wore lolita-type items and it looked like I was wearing a Sweet Lolita dress. ANd my friend's at the lunch table put this black hat on me and made it tilt so I looked ghetto. o_O And, it was really big on me so you couldn't see my eyes or anything. XD And they forced me to go "That be BALLIN' homie!" and do that silly thing where you pound your chest twice and give the peice sign. xD Twas silly. Ghetto-Loli o.O;
