After obsessing with manga for the past 15 years or so I've gotten into korean manhwa! I just love it. The stories are sweet and the art is beautiful. Right now I'm reading one called Goong. It means palace in korean. There is a drama series on right now based off the manhwa called Princess Hours. You can catch it on Imaginasian tv. It's a great little series. There also a couple more I've really liked, Dobeki bride, As You Wish, and My Lovely Sam-soon. Great Stuff!

I picked up a manhwa sampler at comicon last month, some of the stuf is super cute! It seems harder to get a hold of the stuff coming out of Korea at the moment, but I'd love to learn more about it!

I've just now started kinda getting into manga, but I've never heard of Manhwa. It's hard to get a lot of that stuff around here for some reason.

Manhwa is basically the Korean version of manga. The art is a bit different but very beautiful. I'm very much into korean culture at the moment so I'm finding their stories to be new a fresh, deep and touching. I strongly suggest you check some titles out! Amazon has the best deal so far on manhwa that I've found. I've really been enjoying the titles I've picked up recently.

Actually, netcomics is a publisher that puts out manhwa. The books aren't too hard to get ahold of (I get mine at Barnes and Noble), and even if not, you can pay to read chapters online, which is really convenient.
I've only read (thus far) Let Dai and Not So Bad (because I'm a BL addict, admittedly), but I must say, Let Dai is one of my favorite series now, manhwa or manga. It's so good, and the art is beautiful, and Sooyeon Won draws such pretty mouths. But I digress... you'll just have to see for yourself!
